Ezekiel Elliott Only Appealing In Deeper Leagues This Week
1 year agoNew England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott is only an appealing option in deeper fantasy leagues ahead of Week 12 versus the New York Giants. Elliott remains the No. 2 running back behind Rhamondre Stevenson but logged 15 touches and 88 scrimmage yards during his last outing. As the Patriots struggle to get production out of the quarterback position, they have shown increased attention to running the ball with Stevenson and Elliott. Notably, the Giants have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game (15.7 in PPR) to running backs this season, as well as the third-most rushing touchdowns per game (1.0). Playing behind Stevenson keeps Eliott off the fantasy radar in shallower fantasy leagues, but he does have RB3/FLEX appeal in deeper formats.
