Ezekiel Elliott Does Little With 21 Touches In Week 4
2 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott got plenty of chances but didn't do a lot with them in a Week 4 win over the Washington Commanders. "Zeke" ran the ball 19 times, but couldn't find much room, averaging just 2.6 yards on his way to 49 yards on the ground. His longest run went for just seven yards. He was also targeted twice and caught them both for 32 yards. One of his catches was a 31 yard gain, his best play of the game by far. Elliott's backfield mate, Tony Pollard, ended up with just nine touches in this one, so at least the good sign for Elliott's fantasy managers was his usage. With Dak Prescott (thumb) expected back as soon as Week 5, the Cowboys offense could become a little more dynamic. Elliott will be a solid RB3 just based on touches.
