Expectations For Christian Yelich In 2025
13 mins agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder/designated hitter Christian Yelich had an outstanding half-season of play in 2024. The veteran hit .315 with 11 home runs, 42 RBI, 44 runs scored, and 21 stolen bases in only 73 games. It is expected that Yelich will play left field and designated hitter in 2025. His balky back required a significant disc surgery in 2024 that has not allowed him to swing a bat yet as 2025 has begun. A healthy Yelich could have another 25 home runs and 30+ stolen base season in him, but how he recovers from the back surgery is a great unknown at this writing. His current ADP of 116 is a fair price with the injury risk baked into that price. He is currently the 27th outfielder off the board in drafts to this point. Watch for news of his health in Spring Training, but Yelich could either be a steal or a total bust depending on his health in 2025.
