6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin (upper body) and defenseman Kris Letang (upper body) were both back in the lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Red Wings, helping the team secure a playoff berth with a 4-1 win. Malkin, who hadn't played since March 16, tallied his 72nd point of the season with an assist and Letang, who's featured just four times since Feb. 23, produced five shots, two blocks and one hit in the game. Phil Kessel was the star of the night with two goals -- one on a power play -- and an assist.
