5 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has been the subject of much scrutiny from both the media and fans alike since being selected as the team’s first-round draft pick, going sixth overall in the NFL Draft earlier this year. Thursday is the first test for Jones coming out of camp where he has made some impressive plays for a young quarterback, but is currently in one of the most watched positional battles with two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Eli Manning. Giants Head Coach Pat Shurmur has not commented on whether Manning will play in their first preseason game against the New York Jets, but regardless if Manning plays or not, expect a Jones to get some work.--addison_phillips
