Evander Kane Posts Three Helpers On Tuesday
6 years agoSan Jose Sharks left-winger Evander Kane produced a trio of assists on Tuesday night, playing a major role in his team's 5-2 defeat of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kane's playmaking ability was on display throughout the contest as he helped set up linemate Tomas Hertl for his first hat trick of the season. The 27-year-old left his fantasy owners pretty happy with his all-around performance in 18:24 of ice time, also contributing a plus-three rating, six shots on net and three hits in the victory. After getting off to a slow start with just 16 points through his first 26 games of the season, Kane has ripped it up over his past 22 games with 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) to go along with a plus-ten rating and 76 shots on net (3.45 shots-per-game). He's back to being considered one of the top fantasy contributors and should be a lock in lineups on as he suits up for a tilt with the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday.
