Evander Kane Posts Hat Trick To Lead Comeback Victory
1 year agoEdmonton Oilers left wing Evander Kane scored three consecutive goals to record a natural hat trick and lead the comeback in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime victory against the Kraken. Kane got the scoring started with under seven minutes remaining in the third period, while his equalizing goal was scored in front of the net with 46 seconds to go in regulation. In overtime, the 32-year-old received a perfect pass from forward Zach Hyman and scored on a one-timer to complete his seventh career hat trick. Kane has season totals of seven goals and 15 points through 15 games, meaning that the veteran forward has a chance to set a new career-high in points this season, with his current career-high being 57 points from the 2011-12 season.
