8 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Evan Phillips recorded his first save of the 2024 campaign against the division rival San Diego Padres in Seoul, South Korea. Phillips worked a perfect 1-2-3 inning and recorded one strikeout. Phillips was perfect in five scoreless innings this spring and is coming off a strong 2023 season that saw him lock down 24 saves in 61 1/3 innings with 66 strikeouts. Phillips will serve as the closer for one of the best teams in baseball and should be one of the top closers taken off the board with plenty of opportunities ahead.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
