Evan Phillips Earns Save No. 15 Tuesday
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Evan Phillips picked up the save on Tuesday when he closed out the 5-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He went one inning, allowed two runs on one walk and a pair of hits, but still did enough to close out the 5-4 victory. Phillips is having another strong year on the mound, pitching to a 2.72 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 29.0% strikeout rate with 15 saves across 43 innings. Fantasy owners should continue to roster the 28-year-old in all formats, as he remains the number one closing option for manager Dave Roberts out of the bullpen.
