5 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria was activated on Sunday from the Injured List and is in the starting lineup against the Rockies. It will be Longoria's first appearance in almost three weeks after landing on the IL with plantar fasciitis. Longoria is hitting .241 with 13 home runs this season, and owners looking for a corner infielder today should consider him as a later afternoon option.--Michael
