Evan Engram Week-To-Week With Mid-Foot Sprain
5 years agoNew York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said that tight end Evan Engram (foot) is dealing with a mid-foot sprain and is in a walking boot. He's "day-to-day, week-to-week." Shurmur also didn't rule out a Lisfranc injury. It's really bad news for the Giants and Engram's fantasy owners, as this injury could easily sideline him for up to a month or more. With wideout Sterling Shepard (concussion) without a timetable for a return, Golden Tate and Darius Slayton are the team's top two pass-catching options. Rhett Ellison will be the primary tight end and will have low-end TE2 streaming appeal in deeper leagues this weekend against the Jets.
