1 year agoEvan Elder picked up his first UFC win in a back-and-forth decision against Genaro Valdez on Saturday. Elder landed a big shot early in the first round that rocked Valdez and went for a submission, but the Mexican was able to get out of it. In the second round, both Elder and Valdez knocked each other down and both appeared close to getting a knockout. However, both were able to survive, and after the final bell rang, it was Elder winning a clear-cut decision.--Cole Shelton
