Texas Rangers outfield prospect Evan Carter is expected to be promoted to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, which also happens to be his 21st birthday. MLB Pipeline's No. 8 prospect, Carter hit .284 with 12 home runs, 22 stolen bases, and an .862 OPS across 97 games with Double-A Frisco after beginning the season in the Arizona Complex League due to a pre-season back injury. Taken with the 50th overall pick in the second round of the 2020 MLB draft, Carter has done plenty of damage throughout his brief minor-league career, hitting .282 with 27 home runs, 63 stolen bases, and an .871 OPS across 238 games since turning pro in the 2021 campaign.--Brenton Kemp
