Eugenio Suarez Homers, Drives In Three In Wednesday's Win
4 months agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez turned in a big performance in his team's 7-5 win over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday. Suarez went 2-for-4 with a homer, two runs, and three RBI to help power the D-Backs to victory. His homer was a two-run shot off Atlanta starter Charlie Morton in the second inning. It was an absolute bomb that traveled 452 feet with an exit velocity of 110.6 MPH. That being said, Suarez is struggling in his first season in Arizona, hitting just .208 with eight homers, 34 runs, 43 RBI, and two steals over 307 at-bats. That being said, he is showing signs of life of late, hitting .280 with two homers and 12 RBI over his past 15 contests.
