Ethan Small Could Be A Call-Up Candidate For Milwaukee
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Ethan Small could see some time in the majors during the second half of the season, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network. General Manager Matt Arnold said that the team will be looking to acquire bullpen help at the trade deadline, and mentioned Small as a possible candidate for a call up. A first round pick in 2019, Small has been electric over 77 career innings in the minors, going 3-2 with a 1.52 ERA, 1.078 WHIP and 36.1 percent strikeout rate. He's currently shutdown from throwing while dealing with a strained tendon in his left middle finger, but when he returns to action he could be a very interesting option in SV/HLD formats if he gets called up.
