7 years agoLike fellow New York Yankees Dominican prospect Miguel Andujar, Estevan Florial has been cut from the major league roster this spring training, being reassigned to the minor leagues. The 20-year-old was always a long shot to make the squad, especially considering his position of outfielder and how stacked the Yankees are there. Florial got off to a fast start, flashing his speed with multiple triples. Ultimately, it wasn’t enough, as it would’ve taken an historical spring training to even keep him in contention. Still just 20 years old, his future appears bright and we could definitely see him in the Bronx at some point in the future.--RDelgado
