2 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman/outfielder Esteury Ruiz will be making his MLB debut in Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Padres manager Bob Melvin stated that Ruiz will be in the team's lineup for Tuesday's game, but we have yet to see the lineup card released as of this writing. The 23-year-old has played 77 games across Double-A and Triple-A this year and he's slashed .333/.467/.560 with 13 home runs, 46 RBI and 84 runs. Most impressively, he's compiled 65 stolen bases over the 77-game stretch. Ruiz is rated as the team's 28th overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. While he's certainly someone worth scouting for fantasy managers, he isn't a must-add in any season-long leagues at this point.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
