Esa Lindell Records Two Points In Win
5 years agoDallas Stars defenseman Esa Lindell posted a pair of assists to help lead his team to a 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center on Wednesday. With the multi-point effort (including one on the power play), the 25-year-old extended his personal point streak to four games (seven assists). With John Klingberg missing the past two games due to injury, Lindell has embraced a bigger role offensively and has five helpers to show for it over that span. Currently on pace for 34 points this season, the Finnish native looks poised to surpass his career-best 32 points (11 goals, 21 assists) established last season - while also providing solid peripherals as well (plus-eight rating, 46 hits, 77 blocks. He'll look to find the scoresheet once again versus the Ducks on Thursday.
