San Jose Sharks defensemen Erik Karlsson (lower body) and Radim Simek (upper body) are both out for Monday's matchup versus Anaheim. The duo got injured in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Vegas. Neither is dealing with a long-term issue, but they still need some time to recover. Fredrik Claesson and Nicolas Meloche are drafted in for Monday's matchup. Claesson will make his team debut, while Meloche will earn his second appearance of the season. The 23-year-old logged less than six minutes in the team's season opener on Jan. 14. The Sharks have a couple of nights off following Monday's action, so Karlsson and Simek get some time to heal properly and could feature later in the week.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
