Joe Gibbs Racing driver Erik Jones spoke with the media during Daytona 500 media day on Wednesday, where he made his future plans clear. “I have no intention of leaving my role there,” Jones said. “I want to run well. I want to win races. I think if you can do that, the rest of the things are going to come with it." Jones is entering his fourth full-time season as a Cup driver, and third with Joe Gibbs Racing. Jones only has two career wins in the Cup Series but was able to win the Southern 500 last season. Just five days later, the team announced that they would be keeping Jones in the car through the 2020 season.--Daniel BraggRead More News
