Erik Jones has showed some good times and speed in his last two trips to Charlotte. Last year, Jones was third after 200 laps. However, the Legacy Motor Club Chevy faded to 14th late in the race. Some will say it was a numbers game but the No. 43 car seemed to lose the zip in his fastball so to speak. Jones only has two top tens on the season and has not come close to winning a race. He won once last year with 13 top ten results. Even his average finish has gone past 20th (20.8). Again, Jones seems to start well but the finish is the question mark. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Erik Jones of Legacy Motor Club will start in the 14th position for the Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. The No. 43 Toyota driver's starting position will be inside the top 15 for the second time in his Cup career at Texas since 2022. In 13 starts at the site, Jones has 10 top-20 finishes, including three of the last four Cup events there. With 10 races completed so far this season, Jones has five top-20 finishes and an average finish of 22.9. In practice, Jones ranked ninth in overall lap averages while displaying top-15 speeds in the 15 and 20 consecutive lap average categories. Although Jones does not offer high upside due to his starting position, his practice speeds and track history still make him worth consideration for tournament games, especially with his cheap salary on DraftKings of $6,700.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller

Some NASCAR Cup Series drivers have certain tracks figured out. That's the case with Erik Jones and Talladega Superspeedway. In 16 career starts at this track, "That Jones Boy" has walked away with top-10 finishes half of the time, and even has three top-five results to go along with his. Over the last seven races here, Jones has been even more impressive, finishing ninth or better five times over that span. Now, obviously track history doesn't predict future success at a volatile track like Talladega, but the point still remains: Jones is a solid superspeedway racer. He also finished 12th in the Daytona 500 earlier this season. This weekend, Jones qualified way back in 34th-place for Sunday's race, which makes him an excellent Place Differential play in DFS contests. You should have plenty of Erik Jones in your DFS lineups on Sunday, especially with his very palatable $6,400 salary on DraftKings. --Jordan McAbee

Erik Jones used to be great at Bristol in his early years at Furniture Row Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing, when he earned four top fives and led 260 laps from the pole as a rookie in 2017 before finishing second. However, since moving to the No. 43 car (especially after the team name changed to Legacy Motor Club) he has had next to no speed on short tracks anywhere and he's never been more invisible. Even last week at his arguable best track at Darlington, he only improved from 34th to 17th. He qualified a little better at Bristol (28th) and starts alongside the usually much-faster Tyler Reddick, but the only other Toyota he outqualified was his teammate John Hunter Nemechek and the fact that Legacy Motor Club seems to get less Toyota factory support than JGR or 23XI Racing means it's hard to imagine either Legacy Motor Club driver getting a good finish.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller

Erik Jones will likely be a very popular DFS pick at Darlington on Sunday afternoon. Despite posting the third-fastest lap in practice on Saturday, Jones wasn't able to follow that up with a good lap in qualifying and will start from way back in 34th-place when the Goodyear 400 goes green. That gives daily fantasy players massive Place Differential upside by picking Erik Jones ($7,500) at one of his best race tracks on the schedule. Jones is a two-time Darlington winner and has finished 25th or better in all six Next Gen races here since the start of the 2022 season. Even though Legacy Motor Club has struggled this year, Jones has been serviceable for DFS players, including grabbing a 15th-place finish at Homestead a couple of weeks ago after starting back in 28th (+13 Place Differential points). --Jordan McAbee
