1 year agoErik Jones had some promise going into this weekend but then his car had issues qualifying. Jones and his Legacy Motor Club Chevy starts 36th on Sunday afternoon from the Brickyard. The No. 43 car will be another one of those racers to look at when it comes to moving up the field. At Indianapolis, Jones moved up 20 positions in 2022 and 21 in 2021. It is that ability to race in cleaner air late along with some attrition that helps. For what has been a nightmarish season at Legacy Motor Club, even a top-15 would be quite the result for Jones. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
