Erick Gonzalez's Debut Does Not Go As Planned
3 years agoIt looked as if the debuting Erick Gonzalez was going to shock the world and earn a TKO victory in the first round against the veteran Jim Miller on Saturday. But Miller weathered the storm and it was Gonzalez that was defeated via second-round TKO in his Octagon debut. Statistically, Gonzalez racked up only 14 significant strikes (22 total strikes) compared to Miller's 32 significant strikes. Gonzalez showed some real skill in his debut, and if he sees the right opponent next, there is a big opportunity for him to earn a finish for fantasy managers on fight night.
