Eric Young Jr. to Make First Start on Wednesday
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Eric Young Jr. was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake and will make his first start of the season on Wednesday. He will be playing center field and batting eighth. Mike Trout is serving as the designated hitter, so Young will get a chance to start. Young hit .264 with four home runs and 12 stolen bases last season as LA's fourth outfielder, and could be a sneaky source of steals in very deep leagues going forward. At the very least, he's a cheap DFS play on days that he starts.
