7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames is back in the lineup after not partaking in Monday's game due to an unknown injury. It was reported that he would not go to the disabled list for his ailment and it looks like it wasn't too serious, as he is back and ready to go. As Christian Yelich returns, this will make the situation with Ryan Braun platooning at first a little confusing, as Thames has been hitting the cover off the ball lately with four home runs in his last six starts. Stay tuned and wait for official word, but for right now, Thames will likely play first base against right-handed pitchers and will sit against left-handed pitchers.--Caden
