4 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer (finger) was taking on-field batting practice with his teammates on Tuesday evening. Hosmer has not appeared in a game since Sept. 7. The recent progress is encouraging and suggests he may be back in the lineup before the end of the week. He has posted a .886 OPS with eight homers and 32 RBI through 31 games in 2020, making him a valuable fantasy asset in all formats upon his return.
