Eric Haase Blasts His 22nd Home Run On Sunday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher/outfielder Eric Haase helped lead the team to a 2-0 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. He went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in the game. The home run was his 22nd of the year. The 28-year-old has struggled at the plate so far in September. He was slashing just .171/.239/.317 over 12 games this month going into Sunday's contest. Haase has been something of a revelation for the Tigers and fantasy managers alike this year, mashing his 22 home runs in just 89 games. He's still probably worth starting for most fantasy managers the rest of the way. We'll see if Sunday's home run can get him going again.
