Eric Haase Avoids Concussion
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher/outfielder Eric Haase (head) was removed from Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins after taking a fastball to the head. He sat out Sunday's game and there was some speculation that he had suffered a concussion. However, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch revealed that Haase is not experiencing any concussion symptoms. The Tigers are scheduled to open up a four-game series against the Texas Rangers on Monday. There's a solid chance Haase will be back in the lineup for the game. Haase has been a sneaky good catcher option in fantasy over the last few months. Over 46 games this year, Haase has slashed .236/.288/.521 with 13 home runs, 27 RBI and 26 runs.
