Eric Gordon Has 20 Points In Thursday's Loss
6 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon was the team's second-leading scorer in Thursday's loss to Miami, ending up with 20 points on 6-for-17 shooting. P.J. Tucker had 14, Danuel House Jr. 10 and Clint Capela just eight points. Chris Paul scored only four points in 12 minutes before being forced off with a hamstring injury. Gordon was close to being the hero of the night, but he missed a game-winning trey in the final seconds. He finished 5-for-13 from downtown. It's the first time this month that Gordon has managed to reach the 20-point mark. The team really needs him to do better, especially with Paul now likely out for multiple weeks. Gordon has a good matchup next against the Spurs, who struggle to guard the three-point line. The veteran sharpshooter dropped seven triples on them in the last meeting on Nov. 30.
