Eric Ebron Is Silenced in Week 1
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron was an elite tight end last season. During Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, he had just one catch for eight yards. Last season, a lot of his value was tied to his ability to score touchdowns. He nearly came down with one in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, he didn't, and his final stat line reflected that. Similar to fellow tight end Jack Doyle, he didn't receive a ton of volume. Ebron has fallen into the realm of touchdown-dependent tight ends. If he scores, he's worth the start, but he's too inconsistent to rely upon on a weekly basis.
