Eric Ebron Could Get A Second Chance To Break Out
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron failed to have a breakout performance in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles while No. 1 tight end Jack Doyle was out, catching only five passes for 33 yards. That being said, Ebron played on 88-percent of snaps and saw 11 total targets in that game and could be in line for a similar target share against the Houston Texans with Doyle still hobbled by a hip issue. Assuming Doyle sits, Ebron draws a favorable matchup against a Houston defense that has allowed tight ends to catch 13 of 14 targets for 196 yards and two touchdowns so far this season. Fantasy owners should check up on Doyle's status leading up to Sunday's 1:00 P.M. start time before plugging Ebron in to their starting lineups.
