5 months agoEric Cole had missed four of his last six cuts heading to Detroit last week when he finally broke through to place T6 while gaining strokes in all areas of his game. 2024 looked like a breakthrough season for the 36-year-old, as he came out with six top-21 finishes through his first nine events, but of late he's lost his form, especially with his irons. Cole has only played TPC Deere Run twice in his career, including one missed cut, and he's surprisingly struggled off the tee in those outings. The California native will need to find fairways consistently, and make more birdie putts this week if he wants to compete in Illinois at an elevated $8,500 salary on DraftKings.--Tommy Bell
