1 year agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Erasmo Ramirez will make the start on Friday against the Los Angeles Angels. This will be just Ramirez's second start of the season, and he last appeared on Aug. 15, although it was only in one inning of relief. Still, the 33-year-old shouldn't be expected to go for more than a handful of innings, making him a poor streaming option in fantasy. In 28 appearances for the Rays and Washington Nationals in 2023, Ramirez has posted a 5.72 ERA (4.28 FIP), 1.58 WHIP, seven walks and only 21 strikeouts over his 39 1/3 innings pitched. In his 12 seasons in the big leagues, Ramirez only has a 6.8 K/9 over 807 1/3 innings.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
