Equanimeous St. Brown Promising But Unlikely To Produce
6 years agoGreen Bay rookie wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown saw the first offensive snaps of his career last Sunday and had a solid showing with three catches for 89 yards. However he is unlikely to repeat that production in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. St. Brown largely saw snaps on account of the absence of receivers Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion). It currently seems like one or both will be back for Week 6 which should relegate St. Brown back to the bench. St. Brown is a big and athletic player who still needs to refine his skills. He needs to work on his route running and leveraging his size when he plays. St. Brown should be rostered in deeper dynasty leagues but can be left on the waiver wire in most league formats. The Green Bay rookie wide receiver to roster in redraft formats is Marquez Valdes-Scantling who is clearly above St. Brown on the depth chart.
