Enes Kanter Scores 20-Plus Points For Third Consecutive Time
6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Enes Kanter reached the 20-point plateau for a third consecutive game on Wednesday, finishing a 116-89 win over Memphis with 21 points. He also has three straight double-doubles to his name after grabbing 15 boards in the big win. He shot 10-for-15 from the field and also had three steals. Losing Jusuf Nurkic (leg) was a major blow to the Blazers, but it's been so far, so good with Kanter in the starting lineup. Zach Collins, who had 18 points and six rebounds against the Grizzlies, has been good as well. Kanter faces Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets next, against whom he needed only 20 minutes to post a nice 17-point, 12-rebound double-double in his only previous meeting with them this season.
