Enes Kanter Gobbles Up Another Double-Double
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Enes Kanter shot a superb 9-for-11 from the field and notched a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds in Friday's win over Cleveland. He was 3-for-3 at the charity stripe and added one block on the defensive end. Kanter has produced a double-double in nine of his last 10 games. He has always been a productive player but is now earning enough minutes to prove it due to Jusuf Nurkic's (wrist) injury. Kanter could be set for a huge game on Sunday when Portland visits the Mavericks, who give up the fourth-most rebounds in the league to the center position and also have the fifth-worst defensive record against opposing bigs.
