Enes Kanter Disappoints Versus Hornets
6 years agoNew York Knicks center Enes Kanter failed to take advantage of a very good matchup on Sunday, finishing with only six points and four rebounds against the Hornets. He shot a solid 3-for-8 from the floor but Kanter was a defensive liability and head coach David Fizdale elected to keep him off the court. Kanter ended up logging only 18 minutes, which is the second-fewest minutes he's gotten in a single game this season. Sunday also marked the end of Kanter's three-game double-double streak. He'll likely find it tough to get another one going on Wednesday against the Cavs, as Tristan Thompson is currently performing like a madman.
