Emmanuel Sanders a Top-20 Receiver in Week 2
6 years agoNot only did Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders see a 28.2 percent target share in Week 1 (15th highest among WRs), but he had a 90.9 percent catch rate, bringing in 10 of 11 targets. He also went for 135 yards and a touchdown. Look for Sanders to build on his early success with his new quarterback Case Keenum in Week 2 against a Raiders secondary which allowed 176 yards (11th most) and a touchdown to the Rams receivers on Monday night. L.A.'s receivers (well, Brandin Cooks) were also forced to leave another 87 yards on the field in defensive pass-interference calls against the Raiders. Factor in those yards and only the Saints, Bears and Buccaneers allowed more receiving yards to opposing WRs in Week 1. Fire Sanders up with confidence.
