4 years agoSan Diego Padres right-handed pitcher Emilio Pagan was activated off of the injured list prior to Thursday’s contest versus the Giants. Pagan landed on the IL due to inflammation in his right biceps on Sept. 2, although he hasn’t allowed a run in his past four appearances. San Diego brought aboard Trevor Rosenthal at the Trade Deadline to serve as the club’s closer, so Pagan’s previous saves appeal may have gone by the wayside, capping his fantasy upside in all formats.--Jesse Borek
