Emiliano Grillo Looks to Rebound in China
6 years agoAfter a share of second place at the CIMB Classic, Emiliano Grillo was unable to continue his hot form, finishing the CJ Cup tied for 55th place. In reality, Grillo probably played even worse than his finishing position indicates. He only broke par once during his four rounds, and he struggled mightily with his accuracy off the tee. However, the 49th-ranked player in the world will need to have some short-term memory as he prepares to take on Sheshan International Golf Club this week. Grillo comes into the event at $7,500 on DraftKings and does appear to be well-suited for the course. He ranks inside the top 20 compared to the field over his previous 50 rounds in par-three scoring between 200 to 225 yards, strokes gained off the tee and strokes gained on par-fives. Grillo did not play this event last season but recorded an 11th place showing in 2016.
