Emiliano Grillo Brings Consistency To Mayakoba
6 years agoThis week at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, Emiliano Grillo brings an outstanding record of 23 cuts made in 25 events during the 2018 calendar year, which includes six top-10s. The Argentinian has also made his previous nine cuts, posting two top-15 results to begin the 2019 PGA Tour season. Grillo's $9,700 price tag makes him the seventh most expensive player on the slate, but it is easy to see why with his past results at El Camaleon Golf Club. The 26-year-old has provided two top-10 performances in his only two attempts. Grillo is shaping up to be one of the chalkier plays of the week, so if you want to avoid him from a game-theory standpoint, it would be understandable. We like him better as a cash-game play because of his ownership percentage and would lean towards fading him in GPP events.
