3 years agoThe Oakland Athletics placed both shortstop Elvis Andrus (leg) and second baseman Jed Lowrie (hand) on the 10-day injured list on Sunday. Both players are done for the regular season and can be dropped in all redraft fantasy leagues. Andrus was diagnosed with a fractured left fibula in his lower leg. He suffered the injury while running the bases in Saturday's game. Lowrie, meanwhile, has a sprained right hand that has been bothering him all month, forcing him to only bat left-handed in September. The Athletics activated Sam Moll from the paternity list and called up Vimael Machin from Triple-A to fill the two open roster spots.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
