Eloy Jimenez Undergoes Successful Surgery On Tuesday
3 years agoThe Chicago White Sox have announced that outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) underwent successful surgery on Tuesday morning. The goal of the surgery was to repair a torn hamstring tendon behind Jimenez's right knee. It is expected that the 25-year-old will be out for six to eight weeks while recovering from the surgery. Andrew Vaughn and Gavin Sheets should see increased playing time with Jimenez out and we could also see more of Adam Engel and Adam Haseley in the lineup as well.
