Eloy Jimenez To Begin Rehab Assignment Soon
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) is expected to begin a rehab assignment within the next week, according to White Sox General Manager Rick Hahn. Jimenez has been out for about a month after undergoing hamstring surgery. His initial timeline was six to eight weeks and it seems as if he's on track to be on the shorter end of that timeline, meaning a return in early June. Jimenez appeared in just 11 games this year before landing on the injured list. He slashed .222/.256/.333 with one home run over those 11 outings.
