6 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez took part in batting practice Wednesday afternoon before his club took on the Baltimore Orioles. The 22-year-old is still wearing a brace on his right ankle after suffering a high sprain. He was reportedly moving around without any visible issues, which is a good sign. Jimenez is hitting .241 with three home runs and eight RBI through 21 games of his rookie season. He was ranked as the White Sox's top prospect heading into the new season, and his absence shouldn't be lengthy, especially after Wednesday's news.--RDelgado
