Eloy Jimenez Gets Breather
3 months agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Eloy Jimenez is out of the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Washington Nationals. The O's have decided to give the oft-injured slugger the day off after he started in four straight games. Jimenez is off to a hot start with his new team. He's 12-for-24 with four RBI in eight games with the O's. Ryan O'Hearn will get the start at designated hitter and bat cleanup versus right-hander Jake Irvin. O'Hearn is hitting .274 with 12 home runs and 45 RBI against right-handed pitching this season. He could be a low-end streaming option against Irvin who has allowed four earned runs or more in each of his last two starts.
