Eloy Jimenez Carted Off The Field On Saturday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) took a rough fall to the ground in the second inning of Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins. While attempting to run out a ground ball, he appeared to trip over first base, causing him to fall down awkwardly. He was down on the ground for a while. Eventually, a cart came out onto the field to escort him away. Shortly after Jimenez was taken out, the White Sox Tweeted that Jimenez had a right hamstring injury and that he was being further evaluated. Things certainly didn't look good at the time of the incident, but hopefully Jimenez avoided something serious. Stay tuned for further updates after the game.
