1 year agoCincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz had a poor game on Sunday against the Cubs, going 0-for-5 and striking out four times. He was the only player in the starting lineup for Cincinnati who did not record a hit. In his first season in the big leagues, De La Cruz has struck out 122 times, but the infielder is a talented player with great potential. He has stolen 24 bases while slashing .241/.294./.429.
