Elijah Moore Not Playing Against Eagles
1 year agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (ribs) is not going to play in the team's third preseason contest on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Most of Cleveland's starters will sit this one out, including quarterback Deshaun Watson, receiver Amari Cooper and running back Nick Chubb. Moore is currently recovering from bruised ribs, but he has returned to limited practices at training camp. The 23-year-old should be ready for the Week 1 regular season opener as a starter in the Browns offense. The Browns plan to use Moore's speed in a variety of roles in his first year with the team and they've talked him up in the offseason, but he could struggle for consistent targets in a run-heavy offense. He's a decent target as a WR4/flex in fantasy as he looks to bounce back from a frustrating year in 2022.
