Elijah Mitchell Still A Mere Stash In Week 13
12 months agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell carried the football seven times for 39 yards in the team's 31-13 Thanksgiving day defeat of the Seattle Seahawks. Over the past six games, Mitchell has 25 carries for 84 yards, an average of 3.4 yards per tote. Only 12 of those carries have come outside of garbage time and he's only been targeted twice in the passing game. Mitchell also remains stuck on zero touchdowns for the year. Christian McCaffrey's continued workhorse role means that Mitchell remains unplayable this week at Philadelphia but fantasy managers who have clinched a playoff berth and have a potential weakness at RB or FLEX would be wise to stash Mitchell in case McCaffrey misses time.
